In 2019, I was in college when social injustice became real apparent. I started thinking of ways to empower the black community. I had a knack for clothing so I wanted to create a clothing brand that reminded black men and women that there is more to us than what pop culture projects. One day, my dad and I started brainstorming potential brand names and suddenly mentioned the term "intrinsic value". I researched and it just stuck from there. Intrinsic Value speaks to the true, innate value of something or someone. The intrinsic value of my people has been overshadowed for generations and I want to help showcase it.
